Marques Houston & Lloyd in concert... Indig02

(Sefa & Lynnike)
Last night we headed to the Indig02 in London for the Lloyd and Marques Houston concert. We arrived stylishly late and caught Young Nate mid way through his performance... which was FLAWLESS to say the least. He is deffo the best thing to come out of the UK R&B scene in a number of years... no doubt!! He performed a selection of tracks, including his bangers 'Mixed Messages' and 'I wonder.' He was then joined on stage by Gracious K and together they performed 'Whine it gal.' This uptempo funky tune got the crowd hyped up and prepared us for the ever popular 'Migraine Skank' which he performed next.... He sure had us skanking hard to this tune!!!

Mr Marques Houston took to the stage next and performed an array of songs from his back catalogue, including 'Pop that booty,' 'Circle' and 'Naked.' Vocally he was on point, but disappointingly there were no sexy back up dancers to accompany his performance and no slickly choreographed routines, as we had hoped. However, Mr Houston did treat us to a trouser dropping moment, which left many ladies screaming and gasping for air.

Finally, Lloyd took to the stage. He was every bit the entertainer, getting the crowd hyped up and excited! Although he is not a natural born dancer, that didn't stop him dancing his arse off as he performed hit tracks like 'You,' 'Get it shawty' and 'Girls around the world.' He also treated us to a special rendition of Lil Wayne's 'Lollipop,' which was arguably his strongest vocal of the night.

Overall, it was not as great as we would have hoped, but a fun night out nonetheless!!
