On Mon 31st Jan, UK emcee, Big Man Zest held launch party for his new single "Who I Am" (You know we were spinning that tune from day dizzle) which was in conjunction with the African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust (ACLT) to try and help them raise £80k to prevent possible closure. Big Man Zest donated all the first week's sales from the single to the charity and all money raised on the night of the event was also donated.
The event was held at Avalon in Shoreditch and was hosted by the lovely KAT. We arrived in good time and effortlessly mingled with the crowd to have ourselves a good old time. We caught a few of the live performances from Terri Walker, Natalie May, Fr3e (who smashed it with their live performance of 'Round here') and of course... THE BIG MAN ZEST who performed an acoustic version of Who I am... SICKA SICKA SICKA!!
It was a really great event which was put on for a great cause. Peep some of the pix below...
